This condemned house was used as a live burn training, highlighting defensive firefighting tactics. As the house burned, many ambers landed far from the house, creaiting spot fires. BCFD also experienced wildland firefighting tactics during this live burn.

Mobile Home Structure Fire Live Burn Training 10/10/2009

The homeowners of this mobile home decided to dispose of their old mobile home. They contacted BCFD and asked if we were interested in using it as a training oppurtunity. Seeing as there is no such thing as too much training in a safe and controlled environment, we decided it would be a great learning experience. Enjoy the photos of this live burn training.
