Wildland Fire in Meers, OK - Wichita Mountains

Bridge Creek Fire Department was called in to assist on this 26,548 acre wildland fire in Meers, OK on the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, surrounding mountains and areas. There were crews from Colorado and New Mexico not to mention all the crews that came from all over the state to assist. BCFD sent two brush pumpers and six firefighters and the McClain County task force to help stop the spread of this massive fire.
